Anchorage systems for ventilated facades

This anchoring system is made of steel (galvanized or stainless) for the vertical mullions and aluminum for the horizontal profiles and brackets. The anchoring system Series C is the best solution for ventilated facades with thin cladding panels and with big dimensions in which it is possible to insert the special dowels on the back.

The horizontal profiles type C are produced in aluminum EN AW 6060 T6. They are also available in two different colours, natural grey or anodized black.

The vertical mullions are available in three different types and dimensions according to the project and the static calculation. It’s also available a version with aluminum vertical mullions.

In order to use this anchoring system, it is necessary to connect some special cladding brackets on the back side of the panel. The brackets are especially designed to allow the millimetre alignment of each cladding panel.

The anchoring system is composed of vertical C shape profile type K2 (X) in steel (Y) cold formed and with slot on the backside, distance 50 mm from slot to slot, cut in bar of exact length according to the project requirements. The vertical groove along the vertical profile allows, with the use of special nut, the front connection of the horizontal profile and the fast correction of the level and alignment.

The vertical profiles are fixed to the wall at a specific distance each other by means of a steel special bracket (Y), i.e. plate OMEGA shape. The bracket dimension is calculated according to the load and the shape is studied to reduce the thermal bridge. the load brackets are fixed to the structure in concrete by means of anchors (mechanical or chemical) and allows an adjustment of ±20 mm of the vertical alignment. The vertical profile is also fixed along the wall by means of threated bar and anchors according to the wall material.

The horizontal profile type C are produced in aluminium 6060 T6 with slot on the backside to allows the fast connection with the vertical profile and the dilatation due to the thermal shock. the horizontal profile type C are designed specially to support and hold the cladding. To allows the fast connection of the cladding plate, on the backside of the cladding it needs to be installed some special bracket type C, 50 mm length. On the top of the cladding need to be installed the bracket type c with the bolt which allows the regulation of the level. When all the brackets are installed on the back of the panel, the cladding could be hanging on the horizontal profile.

All the elements are produced in the exact length according to the project, with hole and slot: to reduce at minimum the use of electric equipment on site, to speedy up the installation on site, to allow easy levels regulation and alignment, to allow thermal expansion.
