Aderma Technology: Drones for Detailed Facade Inspection

Maintenance in the Construction Sector is Undergoing a True Technological Revolution

A recent Rai News report highlighted the innovative approach of Aderma, a company specialized in ventilated facades, which combines drone inspections with advanced engineering expertise to deliver cutting-edge predictive diagnostics.

Aderma has integrated the use of specialized drones for building facade inspections. This solution has proven highly effective: these devices enable precise data collection even in the most hard-to-reach areas, drastically reducing the need for manual work at height. The collected data is then processed to generate detailed reports that not only identify issues promptly but also enable the scheduling of preventive maintenance interventions with unprecedented accuracy.

Paolo Valera, CEO of Aderma (AdermaLocatelli Group), explained the process: “Our work is based on the analysis of critical technical parameters. We monitor the consistency of joints, as any deviation may indicate potential structural failures. We carefully check the expansion and contraction of joints against the design specifications. We also assess panel flatness, since even minimal variations can reveal significant problems, and we inspect for the presence of cracks or fissures.”
